Mexico Phone Numbers

Mexico Phone Numbers are varied throughout the country with different code numbers. The international access code of Mexico is 52, which is followed by a regional code and a phone number.

After the international country code of Mexico, which is 52, the two or three digit specific area code is placed and then comes the personal seven or eight digit local number of Mexico. If one wants to make a call within Mexico then the usage of only 7 or 8 digit local number is enough provided the area code is within 2-3. While for long distance calls, dialing 01 before the ten digit number makes the call easily connected.

In case of Cell phone Mexico, the rule is different. While calling from outside the country, a single digit, '1', has to be inserted just after the country code. In case of a long distance call in Mexico, 045 have to be dialed first and then the personal cell phone number.
