They can apply for the immigration form showing the tourist fee receipts.The Mexican immigration authority approves tourist cards for all outside vehicles plying on Mexican roads. The Mexico immigration certificates allow the foreigners to remain within the Mexican territory at a stretch for 180 days. Those who want to extend their stay beyond 180 days must apply for the extension of immigration certificate well before the date of expiry.
