Aguascalientes History
Aguascalientes was the native home of the Chichimec groups. The city went under the hands of the Spanish rule in 1530.There were subsequent fights resulting in blood shed. The native people were tortured and killed by the Spaniards. Soon the city developed into an exporter of grapes and local fruits.
