History of Universidad Panamericana

The foundation of Universidad Panamericana dates back to the year 1967. Originally, it was set up as a business school, by a group of men consisting of academicians and wealthy entrepreneurs. With the foundation of The Panamerican Institute of Humanities in its 1968 and its joining with the IPADE, Universidad Panamericana was granted the status of an university and took its present name. In the following years the university saw the opening of various departments. Some of these were Law, Economics, Philosophy, Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering and Medicine.
